Hot Lunch Program: Hot Lunch ordering for the month of November is now open. Ordering will be open from the 1st to the 20th of each month in order to order for the following month. When placing your order you may notice a button to Volunteer for Hot Lunch days. Please consider volunteering to help sort and organize Hot Lunch from 11:30 am-12:30 pm. This program will not continue to run without the support of parent volunteers. School Council AGM: We would like to invite CG parents to join us for our first School Council (Parent Council) meeting of the 2024-25 school year. The meeting will be held on Thursday, October 10th at 9:00 am in the school's Learning Commons (Library). This year, we have decided to schedule the School Council meetings during the school day to see if that time draws more parents to our meetings. Drop by and have a coffee with the school administration and other parents and learn a bit about the important role that the School Council plays in making Christina Gordon the best school it can be. Who knows, once you see how important this group of parents is, you might even want to take on one of the executive roles. We are looking forward to seeing lots of parents.
Family Board Game Night: Inviting all our Christina Gordon families to join us for our first Family Night of the 2024-25 school year - Family Board Game Night. On Wednesday, October 9th from 5:00-6:30 pm families are invited to bring along their own favourite games, but the school will also have some available. Please feel free to bring a snack for your family to enjoy while playing your board games. Just a reminder, as with all of our "Family" nights, students are expected to be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult family member. Join us for a fun family evening!
