The Weekly Update #4

Hello Parents!

We have been busy working with students to teach routines and expectations within all settings of our school. Students have been doing a great job getting the year started in a positive and productive way.

Just a few reminders as we start the year:

• School starts at 7:20 am. Please try to have students in the door by then.
• Check with your student that they are charging their chromebook each night. It is very helpful to have chromebooks fully charged and ready for the day.

Parent-Teacher Conferences

The district will be having parent teacher conferences in October. There will be a 1/2 day of school on Wednesday, October 9th with students dismissing at 10:45 am. Wednesday evening and Thursday all day will be parent teacher conferences. There will not be school on Friday, October 11th and on Monday, October 14th.

Sign up for conferences will be completed digitally. Be on the look out in the next few weeks for conference sign ups. Also, if your email address has changed, please make sure to let the office know the changes and we will update your contact information.

B-PAC Meeting:

Join us for a committee meeting for Bilingual Parents. This is for all bilingual parents in the district but it is being hosted by Olson Elementary on September 17th at 5:00 pm. Please see the flier for more information.

We are still looking to fill a few teacher associate positions to assist different students and programs throughout the building. If you are interested in working at Olson, please inquire within the office.
