MISSION STATEMENT
Martinez Early Learning Center is committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and innovative learning environment for our students, that encompasses kindness and fosters foundational skills for all students to be successful in kindergarten and beyond.
We are Safe,
We are Kind,
We are Mariposas Ready to Learn.
Safety First
The safety of our students and staff is the most important thing at Martinez. We are committed to create a supportive educational environment for every student. We need you help reviewing and updating contact information to ensure the district has correct information in its files, including who is authorized to pick up their students from campus.
Kindness Week
During the week of February 10 to 14 we will celebrate kindness at Martinez. We have different ways to dress up and opportunities to perform acts of kindness each day.
- Friday 14th, We love Being Kind. Wear Valentine's day colors red or pink.
Remember all attires for this week must be classroom and playground appropriate.
Go Texan Pictures
We will be celebrating our Texan spirit on Friday, February 28. Students are encouraged to dress in their Western attire. We look forward to see our little mariposas dressed up as little cowboys and cowgirls. We will also have a fundraiser. We will take pictures of students with a Texan background for $5. You can pay online or send cash. We will send the information home on Tuesday, February 18.

3) Dismissal is at 3:40 p.m.āstudents may not be released after 2:30 p.m. because dismissal procedures will have already started.
4) Students who are picked up before dismissal time will be considered as an āearly leaveā, which is a part-of-day attendance violation.
5) Excuse notes for absences must be returned no later than 3 days after returning to school.
