Safford PreK-8 Community School
Family Newsletter May

Hello Huskies,
We made it! Testing is passed. School is winding down. We are looking forward to next year.
Be sure to get your registration completed for next year and invite a friend. Safford is a great place to grow and wouldn't you love to have more of your family and friends join you on the journey.
The promotion ceremonies are coming up quickly. Be sure to plan a great party for those PreK moving to 1st, 5th moving to Middle School and 8th moving to High School. These milestones are precious. Be sure to share with all that you love, because there is nothing better than the smile of the student when they see that special person celebrating for their success.
Safford is a great campus, and the reason is all of you. It takes a Village to raise a child, and it take a community of dedicated people to support our children. Thank you for being there for all of our Huskies.

We want to make sure your students are protected from cyberbullying at Safford. Please take the time to talk with your children and review their Instagram and other Social Media accounts. We take cyberbullying very seriously at Safford and will be working in partnership with Tucson Police Department to investigate all allegations.
Support School Activities
Did you know Arizona allows you to direct your state income tax to your students' school? The Arizona Tax Credit provides funds for extracurricular programs, enhancing your child's experiences at Safford. Individuals can contribute up to $400 each to support the students at Safford. Encourage friends and family to support your school as well!
Please consider making a donation to support our Mariachi and Folklorico groups on campus. Click here for more information and to donate.
