Calling all VA students and staff

Is your Chromebook not working properly? Cracked screen, camera not working, not connecting to the internet, other issues? Come to our FIX IT Day. IT staff will be on site to take a look at your Chromebooks and help problem solve your issues. We will have a FIX IT Day once a quarter, our first one is Wednesday October 25, 2023 9:30am-1:30pm at Vista View Elementary.

Middle School students must use a school issued device. They may use an alternate device if arranged with the teacher and as a temporary solution. Students using non school issued devices are not able to access items only available on the school device, making learning difficult and can create a security risk. As of Monday, September 25, 2023 teachers will not admit a student into class without a school device, unless arranged ahead of time with the teacher.

If you took school pictures at Open House, your school IDs are ready to be picked up. You will need your school ID to get into ISD 191 school functions like games (free entry except football, you must purchase a ticket) and buying prom tickets. You can pick them up at Vista View Elementary between 8am-3pm.

Remember, do not eat or drink while on your Chromebook. You will be responsible for the repair cost if it breaks while eating or drinking.

The City of Burnsville is a changing/evolving community and to ensure that they are providing opportunities for recreation and enjoyment of the outdoors they are excited to begin the process of updating their parks plan. Community input is vital to this process, so the City needs your help to create a vision for parks and recreation in our community. Please take this survey to help.

A background check must be completed before being allowed to volunteer, which includes field trip chaperones. Please note that it takes a few days to process.
