Classroom Behavioral Interventions
Please join the Allegheny Intermediate Unit's Training & Consultation Team for this HYBRID Training.
Join us for a comprehensive professional development series designed to equip school personnel with effective strategies to support students who struggle in the classroom environment. This series offers a blend of asynchronous and in-person learning to provide you with a thorough understanding of behavioral interventions.
Prerequisite: To maximize the benefits of this training, it is recommended that participants attend classroom management training prior to this series. A solid foundation in classroom management will enable learners to effectively implement the advanced strategies discussed. Participant Information
Target Audience:
General education teachers, special education teachers, interventionists, coaches, principals, curriculum directors, special education liaisons, other administrators
Act 48 Hours:
- 8 (Eight) Act 48 hours will be awarded after the training series.
- Participants MUST complete the asynchronous training component and attend the in person session to receive credit. No partial Act 48 will be awarded.
Cost: There is no cost to attend this training.
Registration Priority: Educators who work for LEAs in the AIU3 region will have priority registration.
Training Format
This hybrid training includes a:
- one-hour recorded session on Behavior Basics
- one-day, in person training at the Allegheny Intermediate Unit
A link to the recorded training will be sent all registered participants on March 10, 2025.
You MUST complete the one-hour pre-recorded training prior to attending the in person session.
