Hello Cheetah Families! I hope you are having a great summer! I am sure your children are already
involved in summer sports, camps, and are busy playing and having fun! While you are busy with family time, we've been busy adding to our family as well. Please join us in welcoming:

🐾 Kindergarten/New Student Round Up 🐾
If you know of any families in your neighborhood who have children ready for kindergarten, please direct them to our District Website to begin the registration process. Children must be 5 years old before September 1, 2024.
If any new families with students grades K - 8 have moved in, they will also need to register with CCSD93. You can also forward this link to them, which will allow them to start the registration process: CCSD93 Registration.
📚 Summer Access to iReady 📚
Don't forget your child has access to iReady through August 1st. Students can access their iReady accounts through the Clever link on our school website linked below:
Students can use their Google information to log-in to their iReady accounts.
🌼 Kindergarten & New Student Orientation 🌼
All incoming Kindergarteners and new students are invited to join us for New Student Orientation which will take place on:
Wednesday, August 14th
10:00 to 11:00am
During this time, you will have the opportunity to tour the school, explore the playground, meet some of the staff and even ride a school bus! We hope you'll be able to join us...it's sure to be a blooming good time! 🌸

Please Consider joining our Watch DOGS Program at CS for the 2024-2025 School Year!
We are excited to continue our Watch DOGS program for the 2024-2025 school year! This is a nationwide program that many schools utilize to help provide positive male role models for students while also providing an extra set of eyes and ears, teaming with us to keep all children safe and feeling important.
We are seeking male role models (dads, uncles, grandpas, big brothers, etc.) to sign up and commit to a day of the week/time to come into our building to interact with our students. If you have questions, please reach out to Mrs. Romano at (630) 588-5400.

If you love working with children, consider becoming a paraprofessional! Paraprofessionals start at $19/hour and work from 8:15 - 4:15 Tuesday - Friday and 8:15 - 2:45 on Mondays.

Our School Improvement Plan Focus for 2023-2024
Our School Improvement Plan for 2023-2024 has two goals:
In Math, at least 84% of students will meet or exceed projected growth by Spring 2024, according to the ECRISS Spring Growth Report.
In ELA, at least 84% of students will meet or exceed projected growth by Spring 2024, according to the ECRISS Spring Growth Report.
At least 75% of students will agree or strongly agree their social and emotional needs are being addressed.
We plan to reach these goals by continuing to focus our efforts on the 3 Ps:
~ Perseverance ~ Problem-solving ~ Productive Struggle
