Important Information for Seniors
Senior Prom and Graduation Information
LAST CALL TO PURCHASE PROM TICKETS - Sales end at 11:59pm on Friday, May 24!
Attention any senior who is planning to attend the prom and that has already registered to attend on Family ID: Tomorrow is the FINAL day to purchase your prom ticket. The box office closes at 11:59pm and all tickets sales are then closed. Please follow the process below in order to purchase a ticket. This information was discussed in the senior class meeting on April 24th and included in a communication home that same date and every Monday Message since that date as well.
Senior Prom - Friday, May 31
The Senior Prom will be held on Friday, May 31 with the Prom Parade to kick off a great evening beginning at 6:30pm. Students will be able to begin staging as early as 4:00pm. Please reference diagram below for the event plan to include:
- Parade Staging Areas
- Parade Route
- Spectator Parking
- Spectator Viewing Areas (*note that bleachers will be at the location across from the building - spectators should bring a banket/chair for other areas as needed)
Graduation Information - Thursday, June 6, 2024 6:30pm
The Coatesville Area School District looks forward to celebrating the class of 2024 at Commencement on Thursday, June 6th!! Please review the preliminary information below so that you are able to plan accordingly for that evening.
Cap and Gown Info:
If you child has not yet purchased a cap and gown, time is running out!! The company is no longer accepting online payments/orders and if a cap and gown is still needed - please contact Ms. Karen Mobley at mobleyk@casdschools.org or by phone at 610-383-3730 (x81511) on Tuesday, May 28 - Friday, May 31 from 8am -3:30pm.
These are the final dates to purchase a cap and gown - if it is not purchased then your child will not be able to walk at Graduation. Payment now must be CASH/Money Order in the exact amount of $24.00.
Graduation Requirements for Students:
The deadline for seniors to complete all necessary graduation requirements in Monday, June 3 at 11:59am. All academic, graduation pathway and obligations requirements MUST be completed by that time. If these are not fulfilled by that time then your son/daughter will NOT be issued a cap and gown and unfortunately will not be eligible to participate in the Graduation Ceremony.

Graduation Ticket Information
Below is the ticket information for the Commencement Program for the Class of 2024. Students will receive these ticket packets after Graduation Practice on Wednesday, June 5th!!
A. 10 Tickets to be used for the outdoor Commencement Program. If more are needed, they may be picked up at the Main Office at CASH.
B. 3 Tickets for the ceremony if it is held indoors in the 8/9 gymnasium because of rain. There are only 3 tickets for each graduate if held indoors (PLEASE PLAN NOW FOR WHO THESE 3 TICKETS WILL GO TO IN YOUR FAMILY/FRIENDS IF INDOORS). One ticket per individual, including infants, due to fire code. Parents are asked to be in their seats by 6:20 p.m. Doors will close at that time as it is impossible to seat anyone after the program begins. Please come early. Leave adequate time for parking and traffic. The Commencement Program WILL BEGIN at 6:30 p.m. The Graduation Procession will begin at 6:20 p.m.
C. 2 Tickets for viewing graduation on the closed circuit TV system in the 10/12 auditorium.
**** Please Note:
Bring all tickets with you in case of last minute inclement weather. Family and friends who wish to photograph/video tape the program are asked to do so from the spectator stands. Do not block the view of others. NO ONE will be permitted on the field nor allowed to stand at the fence. No balloons, flower bouquets, signs, instruments, etc. will be allowed in the gymnasium. NO AIRHORNS! Remember everyone would like to hear their child’s name.
A handicap section will be provided on a first come first seated basis so please arrive early to ensure a seat. Each person may sit in this section with one other ticket holder.
Please remain seated until the conclusion of the ceremony so that all graduates may be viewed
Attending Graduation? PLAN TO ARRIVE EARLY!
ATTENTION: Security Screeners
The CASD will use Security Screening devices to ensure weapons are not brought into the Memorial Stadium. Guests will walk through the new state-of-the-art security screening devices at both gates (Home and Away) that do not require the removal of personal items (e.g., keys, cell phones, coats, or bags). Simply walk through the system unimpeded.
The CDC Gate will not be accessible to enter the stadium.
Guests are asked to arrive early to eliminate lines at the gates for security screenings. All guests and their belongings will be subject to security screening upon entering the stadium. Gates will open at 4:30PM.
Parking Regulations
No parking along curbs of road. Cars illegally parked will be ticketed/towed. Cars with handicapped license plates/placards will be directed to park in front of the 8/9 Center building . Families and friends may also use the available lots as directed by fire police at the CCIU buildings. Please follow the direction of the fire police who will systematically fill all available parking locations.
At 5:30PM, the only accessible entrances onto the CASH campus will be via Business Rt. 30 and Caln Road. Foundry Road/Red Raider Road adjacent to Carver Court will be closed. There will be no through traffic around the 8/9 Building so the graduates can prepare to process to the stadium. Cars will only be permitted to park in the CCIU parking lots, CDC parking lot and select grass areas on which the police will direct traffic.
**All roads around the CASH campus will be blocked off as shown in the diagram below indicated by the road closure signs once the procession begins.
