Madonna Catholic School News
June 6th, 2025
Dear Madonna Families,
This Sunday, we celebrate Pentecost, a very special day in our Church. It’s the day when the Holy Spirit came down to the disciples, like a strong wind and tongues of fire, giving them courage and strength to share God’s love with the world. Pentecost is often called the birthday of the Church, because it’s when the followers of Jesus began spreading the Good News to everyone!
This week, we were blessed to gather for our year-end Mass with the students from Archbishop Jordan Catholic High School. It was a beautiful time to pray together, reflect on our school year, and give thanks to God for all we’ve learned and shared. Just like the disciples at Pentecost, we are being sent out to share kindness, hope, and joy wherever we go this summer.
Let us ask the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with peace and guide us in all we do.
Prayer:
Come, Holy Spirit,
Fill our hearts with Your love.
Help us to be brave, kind, and full of joy,
As we learn, grow, and shine Your light in the world.
Amen.
With gratitude,
Mrs. Cathy Hinger, Principal
Mrs. Fiona Wimmer, Assistant Principal
