Silent Auction Donations
The 3rd Annual Silent Auction benefitting scholarships for Senior band students is here. The first two auctions brought in $5000 to $6000 each year! This is an ONLINE auction open to friends, family, and the general public on December 11th and closes on December 16th after the Winter Concert.
How can you support the online silent auction?
Donate items! Several parents are taking on the point-of-contact role for specific sections. Look for their posts on the PBBC parent Facebook page We have a few sections that still need a parent to organize - reach out to Niki at communications@prosperband.com.
Once the auction is live, share the link on your personal social media page, neighborhood groups, Mom pages, etc. and text it to your circle of influence.

Spring Semester Re-Auditions
Week of December 16th-20th in Band Classes*
What: Audition music will be selected from
- Freshman All Region Music (A cut of 1 etude, announced after break)
- Chromatic Scale (As full range as possible, as your most successful tempo)
- 2 major Scales (As full range as possible, as your most successful tempo, announced after break)
When: auditions will happen in band classes with the band directors.
Why: We hear all students at the semester because of the amount of growth that happens in the first few months of high school.
If we feel you have placed in to a different band, there may be a schedule change at the semester. We will work with these students on a case by case basis and understand that schedule changes are not always possible.
*If you will be traveling this week, please make sure you schedule a time before you leave to do your band audition!

Attached to this email is a copy of the sponsorship application and we would love for you to help share it with local businesses you know and frequent to garner support for our students! And, if your company has a donor matching program, please also consider sponsorship as a family with a donor match!
