BTES Weekly Updates
September 4, 2020
BTES uses Remind to keep families informed and up to date.
Remind is an app that allows us to quickly disseminate information to all families within BTES. One of the benefits of downloading the app is it allows you to have easy access to all the information that was previously shared by our school. At BTES we do not send home paper notifications we expect families to use our website (www.btboe.org) and to sign up for Remind to get all current and relevant "Bulldog News". I have attached directions on how to use Remind below. This will be the primary way that I share news with all families - please sign up.
Wear Masks - Everyone is required to wear a mask unless a medical condition excludes them from this requirement.
Social Distance - Desks are spaced in classrooms, recess does not allow for classes to mix and is spaced out and students are expected to stay with their cohorts throughout the school day.
Washing Hands (soap & water / sanitizing station) - all classrooms either have sinks or sanitizing stations within their room. Students will be encouraged to use them throughout the school day.
Refrain From Touching Face - friendly reminders.
Cleaning Surfaces - we now have three custodians in school during student time. All high touch areas, playground equipment, and bathrooms will be cleaned periodically throughout the school day.

Student Medication Reminders
- Please make sure when bringing a student's medications in to the nurse that you have the proper doctor's paperwork filled out (allergy plan, asthma plan, medication script, etc.) and that the medication is NOT expired.
- We are not allowed to accept any medication without paperwork.
- The school nurse will be available beginning on Tuesday for parents who need to drop off medication. Please call prior to your visit. 732-269-2909 ext:2005
