In the month of September:

• 1288 items were checked out (About 64 items per day)
• 940 students came to the library on their own with a pass. An average of 47 students visited the library on their own each open day in August.
• The library hosted 45 classes for orientation and/or checkout. About 1125 students received library instruction or checkout time in September.
• Ms Sylvia visited 13 classrooms for books talks or other instruction.

We received our first new order of books for the year! 35 new titles including graphic novels, biographies, fiction, and nonfiction. Highlights include: the adapted version of It's Trevor Noah: Born a Crime, Guts by Reina Telgemeir, and one of Ms. Sylvia's all-time favorites Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys.

The Small Library is proud to host a visit by author James Kennedy. He will be here on Oct 10th for two sessions, 8:45 AM and 10 AM. We are excited about his visit and will be selling autographed copies of his book The Order of Odd-Fish for $9.75. Huge thanks to BookPeople for this amazing opportunity!
