Weekly Family Newsletter May 22, 2024
PRINCIPAL PENOYER'S WEEKLY MESSAGE
Good afternoon, Patriot Families!
I am sending our final Loop of the 2023-2024 school year a day early. A reminder that tomorrow, May 23rd, is the last day of school. It is also an early release day. All classes are dismissed by 12:30pm and no lunches will be served.
**Please remember that Liberty is a closed campus. All visitors and volunteers on campus must sign in at the front office and be prepared to show ID upon entering.
Families with incoming Kindergarten students, please be sure you enroll your student soon! We are starting the school year with a modified first day Kindergarten schedule to allow new students and families the opportunity to learn more about our Kindergarten program on Day One. Here is the letter regarding our first day plans for incoming KG students only.
As we are wrapping up this school year, we need to say goodbye to several staff members who are leaving Liberty. We are so thankful for their service to our community, and we wish them the best of luck on their new adventures - whether it be retirement, moving to new cities or new schools, starting new careers, or beginning new life journeys!

STARS STUDENTS
I am happy to announce our STARS students this week. These students were nominated by their classroom teachers and have been doing a great job following STARS expectations of being Safe, Trustworthy, Accountable, Respectful or Supportive.
In Kindergarten, Mrs. Gruler nominated 2 students, Jay and Halle. Jay and Halle have been working so hard to be accountable with their daily assignments. They continue to work hard every day and stay on task! Keep up the great work Jay and Halle, your brains are growing big and strong!
In Mrs. Watson’s First Grade, Teagan. Teagan comes to school ready to work and try her best. She listens attentively in class and follows directions. She is always willing to help a friend in need and sets a great example for the class. Way to go Teagan! Mrs. Watson is very proud of you!
In Mrs. Salmans’s Second Grade, Dominic. Dominc is always doing what is expected. When he has completed his work he is always reading a book or working on something else quietly. Way to go Dominic I am so proud of you!
In Mrs. Kroll’s Third Grade, Brooklynn is always helping and supporting all her friends. She is so sweet and kind to all. You are a great role model for our class Brooklynn! Keep up the good work. I am so proud of you!
In Mrs. Torda’s Fourth Grade, Niko. Niko is being respectful to the teachers and campus assistants when he is in the cafeteria and on the playground. He listens to them and follows their directions. Keep up the hard work Niko. I am proud of you!
In Miss McHugh’s Fifth Grade, Preslee. Preslee works to show her STARS expectations often. She follows expectations when it comes to completing her work and has been working hard to stay focused and on task. She takes ownership of her learning and asks questions and is an active participant in class. Keep up all the hard work, Preslee, and keep shining bright!
In Mrs. McHugh’s Sixth Grade, Ryder. Ryder is a 6th Grade superSTAR in multiple ways! He is supportive of his peers and kind to others. He is always willing to help other students as well as his teachers in the classroom, and he is a great example to younger Liberty students. Way to represent both yourself and Liberty as a STARs Student, Ryder!
Congratulations to all our STARS students!
