We're Back!
Good afternoon,
We are thrilled to be back in school! Our first two days last week were a great success as we adjusted to the school routine. Our middle school kicked the year off with Mass, a blessing from Father Wood, and a wonderful retreat led by Mrs. Lauren Nelson. Our new staff members have settled in quickly, and our new students are adapting well as we dive into our first quarter.
To keep you informed about school events and updates, we will be publishing the Falcon Newsletter every Wednesday. Please find the attached school calendar, and see below for highlights of upcoming events.
School Mass: Our first School Mass of the year will be held on Thursday at 9:00am in celebration of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which is a Holy Day of Obligation.
Back-to-School Spaghetti Dinner & Dessert Auction: Join us this Sunday, August 18th, immediately following the 11:00am Mass for our annual Spaghetti Dinner and Dessert Auction. This free event is a wonderful opportunity for food, fellowship, and celebrating the start of the new school year. Donations will directly support our PTO. The Dessert Auction is a fun experience and a key fundraiser for our school. We hope to see you there!
Volleyball: Practice schedules will be sent out later this week, with practices starting next week. If your child (grades 4-8) is interested in joining the volleyball team and has not yet signed up, please contact Mrs. Ryan McMullen, our Athletic Director, at rmcmullen@spnok.org by Friday, August 16th at the latest.
Robotics Club: We are excited to start a new after-school Robotics Club this year. This introductory program aims to grow over the coming years. Stay tuned for more details!

Middle School House Olympics
Our middle school students are divided into four distinct Houses: St. Augustine House, St. Dominic House, St. Joan of Arc House, and St. Maria Goretti House. Each House includes students from 6th, 7th, and 8th grades, and serves as their "team" throughout the school year. The Houses foster a sense of community through prayer, weekly competitions, and various activities that build camaraderie.
On Friday, the new students were assigned to their Houses and participated in the exciting "House Olympics!" It was a day filled with fun and team spirit.
Uniform Schedule
