Mr. Wilson's March Message
We’ve had a great month of teaching and learning at Mason in February! We are so proud of our 13 STEM winners who represented Mason at the Gwinnett County Public Schools Science and Engineering Fair. We are proud to share that four of our students were awarded top achievements, including the overall winner for all elementary school students!
March is an exciting month at Mason with lots of events happening! The book fair is currently happening in the media center through the first week of March. Conferences are happening on March 5th and 6th and March 14th is our final DLD day this year.
Thank you all for helping your child to get to school on time! We want to continue to see the number of tardies (checking in after 8:15 am) decrease. If your child is a car rider, please be in line before 8:05am. The line closes promptly at 8:10 so our staff can begin teaching students. When a student checks-in after 8:15 am they are missing morning meeting and instruction. So, thank you for ensuring they are here and on-time each day!
Important Dates and Times:
- Spring Book Fair - March 3rd -10th
- Spring Parent Conferences - March 5th and 6th
- Final Digital Learning Day - March 14th
- Kona Ice Fundraiser for PBIS - April 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
- Spring Break April 4th - 7th
Respectfully,
Ryan Wilson

Give your child a special birthday shout out!
Celebrate your child's birthday in a big way with our Digital Marquee Birthday Shout Out fundraiser! The digital marquee is the electronic sign in front of the school that displays messages.
Surprise your little one with their name in lights as their special day is displayed for all to see. Parents can purchase a personalized birthday message to be showcased on our school marquee on their child's birthday. Don't miss this chance to make your child feel like a star! Purchase your shout-out today and support our school at the same time. The cost is $15 per message and your message will be displayed on your child's birthday (as indicated in your order), even if it is a weekend. Our digital messages run 8 seconds before changing, but your message will be visible from 6 am to 10 pm on the chosen day as part of our message rotation.
To order your birthday message, click this link: https://sfnd.io/masonbday
(Please note that designs cannot be customized. For privacy reasons, only the child's first name is displayed on the marquee.)
