Bridport Community Newletter

June 1st, 2025
Week 36
Hello BCS Community!
This past Friday, like every Friday, we had community time. This starts with an all school meeting where we greet one another and give shout outs from the week. This past Friday was one of the most joyful all school meetings of the year. Every student participated, laughed and felt a deep sense of belonging. Shout outs were plentiful with some saying "I want to shout out the whole Bridport school for being so welcoming" "I want to shout out my friend for helping me when I was sad". It was incredible.
I am looking forward to seeing folks on June 12th for our final "community time" and celebration of learning at 1:45PM. We cant wait to share with you the artwork we've done with Kate Gridley, our learning from A Boy Called Bat and for you to be a part of our community meeting.
This time of year is also a chance to celebrate and reflect on the past year. We have come so far academically and socially as a community of learners- and I am so proud to be at Bridport!
