December 2024
Principal's Post
Hello CE Rose Families,
Although December is a short month for our students, there is a lot happening and it is important that you are aware of the following information:
- As shared with you on Class Dojo, FaceBook, and our school website, our school has received a school letter grade of a B. We are very proud of our students and teachers for their efforts and hard work. As a school we want to continue to grow and we need your help to ensure they are in attendance and ready to learn. With that being said, it is extremely important that our students are at school every day and on time. When students are absent or late to school, they miss learning. Every minute counts!
- While we definitely want our students at school every day and on time, we are aware that this is the flu season. It is important to remember that if your child is sick, has a fever or any other COVID/FLU/RSV type symptoms, that you keep them home and call the school to excuse their absence.
- All December we have our quarterly benchmark testing. Please make sure your kiddos are rested, eat a balanced breakfast and are ready for each day. Encourage them to try their best! This is when they can show they are academic champions. We really want them to put forth their best effort and show their work. Students that are at school on the testing dates, will earn a dress down. Students will receive a wrist band to wear for the designated dress down day.
As we near the end of the semester on behalf of our teachers and staff we would like to wish you the Happiest of Holidays. May you enjoy your time with your loved ones and friends. We hope that you have a wonderful and safe Winter break. Thank you Rose Families!
