8/26/24
August 26, 2024
As we return to school next week, I would like to (re)share with you what we mean by Saber Pride at Franklin High School. For our students to be respectful, responsible, and engaged every day, is to give themselves the best opportunity to maximize the moments they have. Consider reflecting on or talking about how your student can demonstrate Saber Pride every moment of every day. Our staff will certainly be engaging our students in conversations about classroom expectations, learning for the upcoming year, and important habits and skills. When our scholars have and live Saber Pride, our pride of Sabers is stronger together. Vince Lombardi once said, "the quality of a person’s life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence, regardless of their chosen field of endeavor." Our individual commitment to Saber Pride and one another is what will make Franklin High School a better place to learn, a better place to work, and part of a better community.
Here is to great final days of summer, preparation, and kick off for this school year!
With Saber Pride,
Mr. Vuolo

PARKING
If you have completed the Back to School Check-in and applied for parking, we will start handing out parking tags on Thursday, August 22nd at the high school office. To pick up your parking tag, Back to School Check-in must be completed, you will need to have all fees paid and no outstanding detentions. Your account will be charged for parking and it is preferred, but not required, that you pay for the entire year ($200). You may pay online or bring in a check (payable to Franklin High School), cash or card when picking up your tag. You will also need to bring in your current driver license and proof of insurance for the car we have on file. Expired insurance cards will prohibit you from obtaining your tag.
Tags will only be sold on the following dates/times.
Thursday, August 22nd from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm
Monday, August 26th from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm
Tuesday, August 27th from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm
Wednesday, August 28th from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm
Thursday, August 29th, from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm
Tuesday, September 3rd, from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm
**Beginning on Wednesday, September 4th, parking tags will be sold after school only! If you have not taken care of the process before your first day of school, you are not allowed to park on school grounds and can be ticketed.**
Student parking spots are numbered and are selected randomly by picking a number. You will need to decide which student lot you prefer to park in and that is where you will park for the entire school year. We are selling tags for the south lot (Student Lot A) which is on the Saber Center end of the building, and the north lot (Student Lot B) which is on the pool end of the building. After you decide on which lot to park in, you will be picking a number from a bucket (no trading) and this will be your spot for the entire school year.
If you have not completed Back to School Check In, please have your parents sign into the Powerschool Parent Portal to access and finish this required process. Please do not come in for a tag until this process is done. Paper parking applications (https://www.franklin.k12.wi.us/franklin-high-school/student-information/parking) will be accepted only if you did not apply for parking during the Back to School Check-in process.
