Irish Gifted Academy
Week of November 17th, 2024
Hey IGA Family!
We had a fantastic week last week filled with engaging learning opportunities and heartwarming moments that showcased the spirit of our school community!
Our kindergarten students took a delightful journey back in time last week, dressing up and bringing history to life by moving their learning outdoors. It was inspiring to see their curiosity ignite as they explored the past through creative, hands-on experiences. These moments foster a love of learning that will stay with them for years to come.
We were also privileged to honor our nation’s heroes during our special Veterans Day program. This moving tribute recognized the sacrifices of those who have served to protect our freedoms. Seeing our students, staff, and families come together to celebrate the bravery and dedication of our veterans was truly a highlight of the week.
Looking ahead, we are excited for our students to gather for our Thanksgiving Lunch on Thursday. This day will be a dress-up day, and we encourage students to come in business-casual attire as we enjoy a special meal together and reflect on all we have to be thankful for.
We will close out the week before Thanksgiving Break with performances and activities from our Pre-K students on Friday. Their energy and creativity are always a joy, and we can’t wait to celebrate with them in what promises to be a delightful conclusion to the week.
Thank you for your continued support and for being part of the amazing learning environment we strive to create each day. We look forward to celebrating these special moments with your family and wish you a safe and restful Thanksgiving holiday!
With Gratitude,
Mr. Taylor
