Beginning of School Reminders
MAIN ENTRANCE
The main entrance to the school is door #17, which is off of 17th Avenue. If your child arrives late to school, or you need to come to the school for any reason during the day, you must use door #17. For security purposes, this is the ONLY door we will allow visitors to enter. Please be prepared- if you use the buzzer at door #2 (parking lot) during the school day, you will be directed to drive around to the main entrance. Security of the building is our top priority. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe school environment.
ARRIVAL/DISMISSAL
Students in grades PK-2 (and their older siblings) must use the parking lot for arrival and dismissal. Families with students that are all in grades 3-8 should use the alley. The first couple days of school will be extremely hectic with families dropping off in car rider lines, and also families that are walking their children into the building. Please be cautious and patient in the parking lot. It is an exciting day, and we want to keep our Giants safe!
SAFE PARISH
All volunteers at Holy Name must complete Safe Parish training and a background check prior to volunteering with our students. If you plan to volunteer in any capacity this school year (PTO, classroom events, field trips, etc) please complete safe parish. The link to the training is below. The password is Archindy2021.
Please keep in mind this is a SMOKE FREE campus. You should not be smoking or vaping anywhere on Holy Name property. This includes inside your car during arrival and/or dismissal. Thank you!

BEGINNER VIOLIN LESSONS
Are you interested in your child learning musical skills? My name is Perpetua Morey, and I am currently a senior in high school, as well as a graduate of Holy Name. I have been playing violin for 7 years. I am a member of the American Prize-winning Indianapolis Youth Orchestra, and I have been teaching violin for one year. Becoming a musician enhanced my life and I truly believe it is a valuable skill for any child. My rate is $40 for 30 minute lessons, and I can come to you! Please contact me for more information at 21pmorey@gmail.com
