Principal's Corner
Over the past week, we’ve noticed an increase in unsafe driving behaviors on Wexford during morning drop-off. Our security staff is present to assist students with safe crossing, but some cars have been driving around them, creating serious safety concerns.
We kindly ask all parents to follow the directions of our security staff and exercise patience, especially as the drop-off area becomes more congested. If you wish to avoid Wexford altogether, you are welcome to park in the administration lot off 36th Street and have your student use the skybridge to walk safely to the middle school.
Thank you all for your great participation in our conferences on Thursday and Friday. If you were unable to attend, please feel free to reach out to your child’s teachers at any time—we are always here to support you.
As we wrap up the first marking period, we are thrilled with the growth each of our students has made. We’re eager to see even more progress as we move into the second marking period. Our team remains committed to providing many opportunities to support your child’s education.
With the winter season approaching, we tend to see an increase in absences. I encourage you to speak with your student about the importance of regular attendance, as it plays a vital role in their success.
Thank you for your continued partnership in your child’s education!
