NO SCHOOL MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 2- LABOR DAY
DEAR FAMILIES,
BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT- Thank you to all of you that were able to attend Back to School Night last Thursday. I hope you found the information useful. If you were unable to attend, I encourage you to reach out to your child's teacher and ask for a copy of the presentation.
STREET CONSTRUCTION ON APRICOT ROAD- Street construction begins this week. Based on the signage, you will not be allowed to park on Apricot Road from 7:00 AM- 4:00 PM. This will impact drop off and pick up. Please ensure you have plenty of time to access the school. We also ask that you do not park in staff parking spots.
AERIES- Each school year, all students' information in Aeries needs to be reviewed and updated. If you need assistance doing this, please contact the office. I encourage you to use a computer and not a mobile device to complete this. It seems to work much better. It is very important to update Aeries annually so we have up to date contact information in case of an emergency. You will also be allowed to give your student permission to check out a library book. The red button below will take you to the Aeries Parent Portal
Go Mustangs!

COMMUNITY RESOURCES FOR FAMILIES IN NEED
SEPTEMBER
Meals for September
The Dinner Site Calendar is linked here. Meals are available to all families in need. Samaritan Center also serves breakfast and lunch. Families can also use the showers but need to meet with a caseworker at Samaritan Center to set this up.
Food Pantries
Samaritan Center and Still Waters Cafe continue to serve as our local food pantries. There is also a food pantry in Moorpark, held at Moorpark College on Tuesdays from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 12:30 - 2:30 p.m. More information can be found here.
Food Share App
This app allows families to locate the nearest food pantry or dinner site that is currently open. It is location-based and provides real-time information.
Digital Mental/Behavioral Health Resources
The state has released two new apps for families and children:
For children 0-12: BrightLife Kids - A CalHope Program by Brightline
For teens and young adults 13-25: Soluna | California's Mental Health App for 13 - 25 year olds
Additional resources for foster and homeless families can be found here.
