Rolfs and Support Staff Award Nominations Accepted until March 21
There is still plenty of time to get your nominations in for the Rolfs Educational Foundation Awards and the Support Employee of the Year Awards. The deadline for nominations is March 21.
Community members, staff, and students can nominate an employee for an award to recognize their outstanding contributions. The Rolfs Educational Foundation gives four awards of $1,000 each to a teacher in each of the four categories: elementary school, middle/intermediate school, high school, and special services educators. In addition, there will be up to five awards given from the following employee groups: aides, drivers, clerical, custodial/maintenance, professional technical, and school nutrition. Each recipient will receive a $250 award. Submit nominations online.

It’s Career and Technical Education Month
Career and technical education classes and clubs help to increase graduation rates and improve academic performance through meaningful experiences. One of the three areas of focus for classes at East and West High School is Family and Consumer Science. Classes cover early education, special education and general education, culinary, design, and service industry. For culinary, students can help run the in-school case, Nifty Nibble, getting hands-on restaurant experience. To view the many CTE classes available to East and West High School students, check out the 2025-2026 Course Planning Guide.
School Counselors Offer Great Support
National School Counseling Week is February 3-7, and we pay tribute to the many school counselors of the West Bend School District. Each day, they work with students, families, teachers, and other educators to help students explore their potential and set realistic goals for themselves, while also examining their strengths, interests, and talents as these traits relate to career awareness and development.
School Board News
