Parent Square
We will continue to use the communication platform Parent Square. Parent Square is designed to keep parents and guardians informed and encourage greater engagement and connection with your child’s school and Gwinnett County Public Schools.
Parent Square provides a safe way for district administrators, school principals, teachers, staff, and parents to receive and send information, such as:
- Weather-related closings & delays
- School and class information
- Share pictures and files
- See calendar items
- Upcoming class activities
Click on link below for more information on ParentSquare.
Safety and Security
Students will walk to their classrooms independently. Partee staff are always in the hallways during morning arrival to assist students with getting to their classroom.
- Prior to entering a school, visitors will be asked about the purpose of their visit.
- All visitors are required to check in and wear a visitor's badge. Visitor's will be asked to return to the front office if a staff member does not see the visitor's badge.
Gwinnett County Schools will continue to use the check-in system, Raptor, for visitors. All visitors will need to have their actual driver's license or state issued photo ID in order to get checked-in. A picture of your ID on your phone will NOT work. It has to be presented in person once you enter the building.
Each school will have a safety committee comprised of staff and community representation, to review, monitor and create safety policies.
