Superintendent's Message
Mascoma Valley Regional School District Community:
Congratulations to the 22 Mascoma Valley Reginal High School chorus, band and jazz band students who attended the Lakes Region Music Festival on January 18, 2025 in Laconia. We had two members of our Jazz Band that were selected for solo performances; Lily Gunnerson and Adeline Josephson! Great job to all those who participated!
As a reminder, the Deliberative Session is scheduled for Saturday, February 1, 2025. It will take place at the MVRHS auditorium at 9 am. Child care will be provided by the members of the high school Interact Club and National Honor Society.
The link to request a food box for February break has been sent out to families and is also included below. The deadline for requests is February 9th.
With the recent release of Quarter 2 report cards, any students, grades 4-12, who are in need of extra tutoring should talk to their school counselor and enroll in Tutor.com. Information regarding this program is included in this District Newsletter. It’s a free service offered to NH students and has been used in our District with great success.
Congratulations to our fall sports teams for an outstanding season. This winter we have hung three championship banners on our gymnasium wall at the high school; Bass Fishing, Boys Cross-Country, and Football. The ceremonial hanging of the runner-up championship banner for our Boys Soccer team will be held on Friday, February, 7th in between the JV and Varsity Boys Basketball games. Adding four banners to our high school demonstrates the outstanding student athletes and coaches we have in our District.
