Bright Futures Scholarship

The Bright Futures Scholarship can pay for up to 100% of tuition and a FL public college or university. Visit SAPBFMAIN - Florida Student Scholarship & Grant Programs (floridastudentfinancialaidsg.org) for more information. Seniors will apply beginning Oct 1.

Scholarships that require a school nomination ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿฝ

In order to apply for the scholarships listed below, students must be selected by their school for the nomination. Often times, the school is only allotted one or two nominations per scholarship. Please review the criteria of the scholarship to make sure you are a good fit before requesting a nomination. A nomination is not a reflection on your likelihood of being admitted to the university; oftentimes admissions and the scholarship are two separate processes.


How to Apply: To request a nomination for any of these scholarships, you must submit your resume and a one page essay explaining why you should be nominated to Mrs. Moseley by the deadline listed below. Late submissions will be considered on a space available basis only.

Youth Excellence and Achievement Award

This award recognizes Hillsborough County students for making a difference in their community. The Board of County Commissioners created the YEA! Awards in 2010 to recognize Hillsborough County students for making a difference in their community. The award recipients show initiative, innovation, and commitment to themselves and others, while pursuing excellence in a leadership capacity. This can be demonstrated in academics, community service, athletics, performing arts, conservation, or other areas.

AMVETS is proud to offer scholarships/grants to Active Duty, Veterans, Guard and Reserves, their spouses as well as their children and grandchildren. The award amount: $1,000-$5,000. Application deadline is October 15, 2024.
