Attendance Matters!
Did you know...? Why Daily Attendance Matters:
Missed Lessons = Falling Behind: Even one day can mean missing critical instructions and activities, making it harder for your child to catch up.
Impact on Future Success: Consistent attendance is a strong predictor of academic achievement and future opportunities.
Building Resilience: Regular attendance teaches your child the value of perseverance and responsibility—essential skills for success in life.
Stronger Friendships: Daily presence helps your child develop and sustain friendships, which are crucial for emotional and social development.
Healthy Routine: Attending school every day establishes a stable routine, promoting better mental and physical health.

Transportation
Transportation Website Information
Go to our website https://www.cityview-isd.net/o/cves and click on the transportation button in the middle of the screen. This will have the Bus google form as well as a map with bus route information. This is still a work in progress. We are hoping to be done soon.
If you are making same day transportation changes with your child, please contact your child's teacher and please do so before 2:00pm. We will only accept emergency transportation changes after 2pm and those will need to go through the front office with our Secretary Ms. Stone.
If you have to making a change for transportation in advance please contact your child's teacher through the parent square app, writing a parent note, phone call, or email.
* NEW : Buses leave the school around 6:50am. Depending on what students are riding the routes each morning/afternoon will determine pick up/drop off times. Please arrive at the bus stop early enough for pick up/drop off. Margin of error on pick up/drop off can be anywhere from 5-8 minutes. Please remain patient with us. Parents are responsible for their children at all bus stops.
