ACT - Juniors will be taking the ACT. ONLY Juniors will report to school on March 12th. Freshmen,
Sophomores, and Seniors do NOT have school March 12th.
March 13
Juniors with second semester Economics will participate in Reality Zone, a financial literacy program which is a requirement for graduation.
Celebrations
Multicultural Club
Multicultural Club went to WIS, CEPS, and 4K to read books centered around the district theme of kindness in February. Brittany Brazzel was a HUGE force in making this idea happen (thank you!), and it was SO successful. The joy of our students and the entirety of McFarland students 4K-5 was incredible to see. It was an amazing way to build community. The littles LOVED the big kids visiting!
State Superintendent Underly Visits MHS
Dr. Jill Underly visited MHS on Friday, February 23rd, in honor of Career and Technical Education month. She spent time in Business and Marketing, Tech Ed, and the Family and Consumer Sciences kitchens as well as meeting with a panel of students.

All questions or concerns regarding attendance/absences should be directed to Carli Cherek at cherekc@mcfsd.org or 608-838-3166 x4762.
There are three ways to report your student's absence, appointment, leaving early/arriving late:
- Enter your request directly into IC. (Instructions) -
- If you are concerned that the office staff is not receiving your IC absence request, please make sure you allow notifications for the Infinite Campus app on your phone. Once the IC request is processed you will get a notification.
- Call the attendance line directly at 608-838-4657 and leave a message. These are sent directly to our email, so we see them in real time.

Spartan Nation Update
Girls Basketball: The girls had a very nice win over Elkhorn on Thursday in the WIAA Sectional Semifinal to advance to the WIAA Sectional Final to play West Salem on Saturday. The team played very hard but came up a little short. CONGRATULATIONS to the players and coaches for a GREAT season.
Boys Basketball: Played Fort Atkinson on Tuesday in the WIAA Regional game. The team played hard but came up short in the end. CONGRATULATIONS to the players and coaches for a hard fought season.
Spring Sports are right around the corner.
Track & Field: Will start their practices on March 4th.
Softball: Will start practices on March 11th
Boys Lacrosse: Will start practices on March 11th
Girls Lacrosse: Will start practices on March 11th
