Letter from the Principal
What a busy week it has been!
On Tuesday, our students from PreK - 6th grade attended a Fire Prevention and Safety Assembly while our 2nd and 4th graders braved the Belleville Fire Departments Smoke House. STOP...DROP...and...ROLL!
Is it a dog, cat, turtle, hamster, or a horse? Pet Blessing took place on Tuesday after school and it was exciting to see all of the different animals. God truly has blessed us with some amazing pets!
A HUGE SHOUT out to all the families who went to Chick-fil-a Tuesday Night and supported our school. It was great seeing everyone there!
Father Joseph and Deacon Doug said a beautiful Mass on Wednesday, where the generosity of our students and families shined through as bags and bags of food were placed on the alter step for the Interfaith Food Pantry. St. Teresa students donated 731 pounds of food on Wednesday!!! Added to what both parishes collected, the total was 1,519 pounds of food that was donated to the Interfaith Food Pantry! What a true blessing all of you are for donating.
Today, while students were still tucked into bed, our teachers learned about how to grow their walk in Christ, collaborated with other schools, and attended Mass with the Bishop.
Enjoy your four day weekend and as always we thank you for sharing your student with us. We appreciate your trust, support, and partnership.
Sincerely,
Nicole Green
Principal

SVDP Friends of the Poor Walk Kick Off
The St. Vincent DePaul Friends of the Poor Walk donation collection is officially underway! Each student has been challenged to bring in just $5.00, which would provide breakfast for a person in need from our community. All students have also been encouraged to do a "good deed" in order to earn that money! Donations should be sent in by 10/18. Last year, we raised nearly $2,500 for Cosgrove's Kitchen!! If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Duncan at barbie.duncan@stteresatigers.org. Thank you for your support!

For the 2022 – 2023 school year, schools are required to return to charging for school meals. The program flexibility provided by the federal government has expired; therefore, meals are no longer free. St. Teresa School is accepting payment through FACTS. Parents can deposit money for meals in their FACTS Management Account.
Lunch Costs: School lunches will cost $3.35 per lunch this year with milk costing $0.70. This year students from Kindergarten to 8th grade will have four lunch choices; two rotating choices, a salad, or a sandwich.
Snacks will be available for on the spot cash purchase for 5th - 8th grade.
PreK will have three lunch choices; two rotating choices, or a sandwich.
St. Teresa School does not permit food deliveries from vendors such as DoorDash, UberEats, restaurant delivery, etc. If a fast food item is dropped off for your student to eat at school, they will be asked to eat it in the office.

Students are allowed to wear ANY COLOR spirit wear on Fridays. All spirit wear must be in good taste and say St. Teresa School on it.
Ensure you are following the Student Handbook for Dress Code
