Wellness Center
As we head into mid semester, it may seem like spring break is far away. Mid semester burnout is real and it is more important than ever to engage in self-care activities. Self-Care activities can include exercise, journaling, cooking, listening to music, playing with your pet, etc. Need more ideas? Check out our Wellness Center Website by clicking HERE or stop by the Wellness Center in M-2.
AVID Future Ready
Our students had a wonderful 2 day RoadTrip to San Diego this past week. They visited multiple colleges: CSU San Marcos, Point Loma Nazarene University, UC San Diego, and San Diego State. Students were able to witness first hand what it feels like to be on a college campus. They were able to see the difference between Cal State, private, and UC. Former avid students currently enrolled on these campuses met up with us and gave our students insightful information. Our admitted students were able to visit the admissions office and ask questions they had about their application status. It was an amazing trip and our students are very fortunate to have these opportunities.

Staff Spotlight
Meet Mrs. Kristian Docazal, our passionate Spanish teacher who not only ignites a love for language but also has a few favorite things that make her unique! When she’s not inspiring students with her knowledge of Spanish culture and language, you’ll find her savoring a delicious double-double from In-N-Out Burger — the ultimate comfort food.
She’s got a knack for appreciating the finer things in life, and when she's unwinding, you can bet she's enjoying the soothing sounds of classical music.
