3rd-6th Grade CAASPP TESTING CONTINUES THIS WEEK!! April 14th-May 2nd
How can I set up my child for success on the state test?
1. Attendance is a must. Please bring your child to school on time EVERYDAY.
2. Please have your child get a good night sleep each day. Early to bed!
3. Have your child eat a healthy, protein filled breakfast.
4. Most importantly, encourage your child to do their best each day!!!
We appreciate your support to make sure our students are prepared and do their best on the test!

You have TEN DAYS to clear a student’s absence. Medical notes must be presented to excuse any medical appointment. Please include the following information when reporting an absence:

- Your name

Talent Show!
A huge congratulations to all who performed in the talent show! Thank you to all our teacher and parent volunteers who made this event possible!
Lakewood's annual talent show will be in spring of 2026! More info to come
3rd Grade Recorder!
Your student is learning to play the soprano recorder in Music Class. If you or your student has a soprano recorder they are encouraged to bring it to music class.
If your student has purchased a recorder, it is being stored in the music room for safe keeping. The recorder will be available for your student to bring home at the conclusion of our unit.
5th and 6th Grade Recorder!
Your student will be learning to play the soprano recorder in Music Class. If you or your student has a soprano recorder they are encouraged to bring it to music class.
This is always an exciting instrument to learn how to play. The students learn about note reading, breathing and rhythm patterns, which are part of our Classroom Music Curriculum.
Spring Fling: May 16
Assembly at 12:50pm: Grades 1-3. After school at 5pm: band and choir

Volunteer Fingerprinting & Driver Forms

San Joaquin County Public Health Services asks that your school please share this letter to the parents and guardians of all children enrolled in your school to ensure all students do not miss any necessary school days this upcoming school year.
- Students currently in 6th grade who will be entering in the 7th grade next school season.
- Students currently in TK or any child who will be entering into kindergarten this next school season.
