FROM THE DESK OF MR. FRAY
GBHS Bobcats-
I hope this message finds you well as we transition into the crisp and colorful month of November. This time of transition outside is also a time of transition in the hallways and classrooms of our high school. Our first marking period has come to a close and students should have a clear understanding of how they are performing in each of their classes. If the performance is not at a level they would like, I encourage them to work with their teacher and counselor to develop a plan that will provide them with the extra support necessary to improve their outcomes. Additionally, the change in weather will require our students to adjust their morning routines. Being on time to school is important and the dark mornings cause a slower arrival to campus. We are seeing an increase in student tardiness to school and I encourage you to work with your student to make the necessary changes to make arrival to school on time a priority.
Finally, we are getting close to having access to a second crossing path as construction on the Frank is nearing completion with the installation of the new track. I am aware that the past year has proved challenging with only one crossing path and we all look forward to increased space a return to two paths will provide our students. I am grateful for the patience and understanding our students have shown and know that our new facilities outside will be worth the wait!
Go Bobcats!

The 39 Steps
November 16, 17, & 18, 7:00pm
In The 39 Steps, a man with a boring life meets a woman with a thick accent who says she’s a spy. When he takes her home, she is murdered. Soon, a mysterious organization called “The 39 Steps” is hot on the man’s trail in a nationwide manhunt that climaxes in a death-defying finale! A riotous blend of virtuoso performances and wildly inventive stagecraft, The 39 Steps amounts to an unforgettable evening of pure pleasure!

Health Impacts of E-Cigarettes/Vaping
We encourage open conversations with your student about the health impacts of vaping as a preventative measure. Youth are being exposed to these products at a very young age and our hope is to arm students and parents with information so they are ready to say NO to vaping.

lockers,(ie. Band, CSS, Woods) do not sign up for one with this
program.

2023.
4. Save this web address on your device as it will be the way to get
your combination should you forget it.
5. Locker sign-up is optional. Students may opt not to sign up for a locker and simply carry their books/supplies throughout the day.
6. Username and password are both student's six digit ID.
BOBCAT TIME!
Bobcat Time is held every other Wednesday for approximately 30 minutes and includes lessons focused on character education and social emotional learning. This program will continue this year with a renewed focus on the 24 Positivity Project Character strengths. All students will engage in the same activities as they will be designed to align to the happenings at the school during that time. Our hope for this time is to continue to develop a stronger community in our classrooms and hallways, while also promoting behaviors that increase student success.
