A Word from Mr. Galindo
August 26, 2024
Liestman Families: Today marks the 11th day of the new school year and the last week of August. We continue to put into practice strong beginning of the year routines and procedures both in the classroom and across our campus. Parents can help us keep our learning environment safe and consistent by: reinforcing our school-wide rules, ensuring that students follow dress code, and that they wear their transportation tags each day (through August 30th). Note: only students who ride the bus can take their ID home as they are used for on and off boarding the bus.
Campus-wide rules:
1) Keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourselt at all times.
2) Follow directions first time given.
3) Treat yourself, others, and school property with respect at all times.
Birthday celebration procedures: We celebrate birthdays at Liestman! Parents may send to school or drop off store bought goods in the front office. Ensure that items brought are labeled with your child's and teacher's name. Note: birthdays are celebrated during recess time. Contact your child's teacher to coordinate. In addtion, students are encouraged to stop by the front office to pick up a birthday ribbon and pencil. Coming soon..parents will be able to request an announcement be placed on the marquee for a fee using SchoolCash. More information to come.
