And We Are Off!
What an amazing start to the new school year! Despite the heat, the kids were awesome, so smiley and cheerful and the teachers did a lot of great activities to help build community, review expectations, and set CMS up for a great year!
The late bus starts next week in order to accommodate for drama and sports as well as other afterschool opportunities. Most clubs will start within the next two weeks. Each Friday, I'll add in any new clubs that are starting. There are four late buses for afterschool activities. Students should check in with Dr. Fraczek and Mr. Greeley about which one they should take based on the bus they normally take to and from school.
Activities Starting Monday
Volleyball - Afterschool in the gym
Cross Country - afterschool meet in room 219.
Both run later than the late buses so students will need a ride home. If they need to take the late bus, they should talk to their coach.
Drama - informational meeting on Monday with auditions Wednesday and Thursday.
School Council
Lunch
We have three lunches divided by grade. School lunch is free for all students. Students are welcome to bring a lunch from home. We ask that students DO NOT bring soda or large amounts of candy. Please no glass containers. We encourage students to bring water bottles to school each day. Please have students use a reusable water bottle as we do not allow disposable water bottles in classrooms. Transparent water bottles are preferred.
