Our Rennell Assistant Prinicipal, Rebecca Hignight, was named Principal of Moore Elementary beginning the 2024-25 school year! We are so excited and proud for Mrs. Hignight, but are very sad to have her leave our Rennell family. Please join us in congratulating Mrs. Hignight on her new role! She will remain with us at Rennell for the rest of this school year and start in her new role as Principal at Moore in the Fall. Here is a link to the CFISD press release.

Due to our large number of students, we are not able to accept specific teacher requests for the 2024-25 school year. Assistant Principals work together with your child’s counselor and current teachers to create classes for next school year keeping in consideration learning needs, student personalities, and social-emotional needs. Many people who know your child have input on your child’s placement for the upcoming school year to ensure the best possible placement and groupings. If you have specific personality and learning needs that you believe we need to consider, you may fill out this google form now through May 10th. After that time, staff will finalize classroom placements for next school year.

It has been our tradition at Anthony Middle School to invite our future parents to the last VIPS, Watch D.O.G.S. meeting of the school year. Please join us if your child will be an Anthony student next year. We would like to meet and visit with you. The meeting will be on Friday, May 10 at 9:30 a.m. in the library. We will discuss many ways in which you will be able to volunteer at our school.
