Herget Wrestling started its competition season with a tough matchup against the stacked Washington Generals. The Huskies didn’t come out on top in overall team points but had some exciting individual wins. Hunter P. started the night off with a solid 2nd-period pin. Jack M. scored what is perhaps the fastest technical fall in Herget history, winning 15-0 in just 54 seconds. Max P. wrestled up a weight class to challenge a state placer and earned an impressive 6 takedowns on his way to victory. Mia C. celebrated her birthday in style by getting her arm triumphantly raised after a hard-fought battle. Andre B., Damian G., and Maren M. scored the remaining pins for the night, while Ayden C. and Jackson C. both earned victories by decision. The Husky wrestlers have their work cut out for them, so it’s back to the grind before next Tuesday’s home meet against Geneva!

Drama Club - We currently have 25 students in drama club or those wanting to be on stage. Those students are also in the Drama Club Schoology page. If you have not filled out the form this year, you are NOT in drama club or the musical right now. If you would like to be on stage and in drama club you NEED to fill out this form. This is only for those students wanting to be on stage NOT backstage or crew. The show announcement will be made next week on the Schoology Drama Club page first.
