We will also be collecting food donations for the Sunshine Division to help families in our community. We need at least 500 items of food. Student's can donate any item at any time; it doesn't have to be within the weekly theme. When they donate, they will be given raffle tickets to enter the weekly giveaways.

Scholarships
It's Scholarship Season!! Check out these tips for how to apply for scholarships:
Search for scholarships: https://oregongoestocollege.org/pay/scholarships
- Pay attention to requirements. Only apply for scholarships you are eligible for. Many scholarship search engines let you filter by specific criteria.
- Focus locally. The more local the scholarship, the more likely you are to win! Check CMC's online college & career center Scholarship Page, explore the OSAC scholarship catalog, and use our calendar of Oregon scholarships organized by due date.
- Look at your colleges. Some colleges award scholarships automatically. Others need an extra application and require creating a scholarship account.
- Search nationally (if time allows). There are many free websites to search for scholarships. For those that need a log in, be aware that they may sell your information. Some reputable search engines can be found at CMC's Scholarship Page.
- If you need a letter of recommendation from your counselor or teachers, please fill out this Letter of Recommendation Request Form and allow up to two weeks for your letter to be submitted after requesting it. Please don't wait until the last minute or you may miss an important deadline!!
