Tech Weekly News Update

We know everyone is looking forward to Easter break especially with two weeks of STARR testing behind us! Thanks to everyone for helping us with getting Chromebooks test ready. Everything went very well. The only hiccup that we are aware of was that a few Chromebooks did not go to the correct page after the student clicked sign in. We tried to take images, so you will be prepared if this happens with our last round of testing.

If a student alerts you of the page above, select TEXAS from the first drop down menu and then it should display TEXAS STUDENT ASSESSMENT PROGRAM for the next drop down.

In one incident, a student tried to continue with DELAWARE selected as the state. For some reason, a few of the Chromebooks had the state of DELAWARE already selected from the drop down menu. At this point, you should alert the tech team member for assistance. We figured out that you can go back and select to return to the secure browser launchpad and then you can select TEXAS.
