Training and Support Team Mission Statement
The Training and Support Team collaborates with end users to adapt in an ever-changing technology environment. Providing support and information, we empower effortless use of devices, applications, and software. In keeping with the District's vision, we strive to foster learning by serving the Conroe ISD community with knowledge, patience, and kindness.
Training and Support Team Values

EDUPHORIA
Your log-in screen looks different!
You may have noticed that your Eduphoria log-in screen looks different. Well, that isn't the only thing that has been updated! This summer, they rolled out some interface changes that are designed to increase accessibility within the software! They have upped the contrast, updated branding colors, and changed capitalization rules, so it's easier to see, navigate, and understand the user interface.
As an added bonus, you may have noticed the new mascot! The new Eddy will be popping up in the software, on social media, and on instructional materials.
CANVAS
Canvas Updates for May, June and July!
There have been many updates to Canvas. Here is the link to their public course that Canvas has created to assists you in navigation all these updates.
If you have any questions, comments or issues then please submit a ticket through Canvas. Click on Help from the universal navigation menu then Report a Problem.

iPAD NEWS
EDU WIFI Profile Updated for iPads
- The EDU WIFI Profile has been updated for iPads.
- The update was pushed out to all iPads in July.
- When your iPad first turns on it should connect automatically to the updated EDU WIFI Profile.
- Follow these EDU WIFI Troubleshooting tips if any of your iPads fail to connect correctly to the updated EDU WIFI Profile.
iPad Updates
- The most recent update available to iPads is IOS 17.5.1.
- iPad 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th gen models are all compatible with IOS 17 and should update to IOS 17.5.1.
- iPad 5th gen update to IOS 16.1.
- iPad 4th gen and below will not update past IOS 10.3.3.
- Here is how you can Check the IOS of your iPad.
- If your iPad needs an update and is not doing so automatically, here are the steps to Manually update your iPad.
All iPads Should Now Be in JAMF School
- Last year we moved all iPads over to JAMF School
- If any of your iPads have a background that looks like this then they have not been moved over to JAMF School:
- If your iPads have either of these backgrounds, then they have been moved over to JAMF School:
- If any of your iPads need to be moved over to JAMF School, all you need to do is wipe and setup the iPad:
- If any of the iPads that you wipe still do not move over to JAMF School after you wipe them, you can fill out the JAMF School Issues Form in Eduphoria.
- Wiping an iPad removes its data, so it is important to back up any data needed from Staff iPads before wiping them.
CHROMEBOOK NEWS
EDU WIFI Profile Updated for Chromebooks
- The EDU WIFI Profile has been updated for Chromebooks.
- The update was pushed out to all Chromebooks in July.
- When your Chromebook first turns on it should connect automatically to the updated EDU WIFI Profile.
- Follow these EDU WIFI Troubleshooting tips if any of your Chromebooks fail to connect correctly to the updated EDU WIFI Profile.
LTS (Long Term Support) Channel
- Google has changed the LTS or Long-Term Support channel for Chromebooks from Chrome OS 114 to Chrome OS 120.
- You may see your Chromebooks update from Chrome OS 114 to Chrome OS 120 on their own and that is normal and intended.
- If your Chromebooks do not update automatically, you can follow these steps to manually update them to ChromeOS 120.

- If you want to check the ChromeOS version of your Chromebook follow this helpful guide to learn how to do so.
- The following Chromebook Models can no longer receive updates so you do not need to try and update them, and they should not be used for testing:
- Old Dell 11 Chromebooks
- Old HP 11 Chromebooks (G5/G5 EE or below)
- Chromebooks that are already at Chrome OS 120 or above do not need to be updated.
- They are ready to be used for all testing purposes.
