Pine Road Grows Great Kids
Thursday, March 6th
A Message from Mrs. McMullan
Dear Pine Road Families,
Our annual Spring Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place in just a few weeks! These conferences are a wonderful opportunity to connect with your child's teacher, discuss academic progress, and address any questions you may have.
If you have not already done so, please contact your child's teacher directly to set up a meeting time. More details can be found in the conference communication letter that was shared at the end of February.
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to meeting with you soon to discuss your child’s growth and success!
If at any time you have questions, please contact me through email (kmcmullan@lmtsd.org) or phone (215-938-0290 ext. 6025).

March Service Learning
Books and Bedtime
This year, we are excited to partner with One House At A Time and The Philly Book
Bank to help make a difference in the lives of young children in our surrounding
community. Without our help many of these children may never own a book at home or
realize the power of reading. They may not have the simple comfort of a bed or new
bedding.
Mission Statements:
➔ The Philly Book Bank is a 501©3 non-profit organization located at Martin Luther King
High School in Philadelphia, PA, providing books for children from birth through high
school.
➔ OHAAT’s mission is to help families who are currently lacking resources to establish (or
reestablish) a self-sufficient life by providing them with the necessities of a functional
home environment.
We are collecting:
★ gently used/new books for all aged children (no adult books please)
★ New/gently used standard pillows, twin-size sheet sets, blankets and comforters,
New dental hygiene supplies
Please send your donations to school by Monday, March 31st. Collection boxes are in
the lobby.
Thank you, in advance, for helping us to make a difference in our greater community!
Student Spotlight on Pine Road TV
Our Pine Road Diversity and Engagement Committee is starting a new initiative to spotlight diversity at Pine Road! Starting this month, all K-3 students are invited to share about their culture, traditions, how they learn, and/or what makes them unique on Pine Road TV.
Interested students can sign up using this Google Form. After you sign up, our Committee will review your idea and email you with a link to create your video.
Once your video is submitted, it will be aired on Pine Road TV. We ask that all video entries be sent a week prior to the viewing. This is especially important if you are spotlighting a holiday you celebrate.
We are looking forward to learning more about each other and celebrating our differences!
