Greetings LTUSD friends and families,
I extend my sincere gratitude to all who joined us for the State of the District on March 20, 2024. With a turnout of over 100 community members, we were enriched by insightful discussion and valuable input on crucial topics such as student achievement and fostering an inclusive, connected environment for both students and parents. Our agenda included a panel discussion addressing the condition of our district facilities. A heartfelt thank you goes out to our panelists for sharing vital information regarding our facilities: Brian Whitmore, President CEO, Studio W Architects; Robert Haen, Operational Manager, Haen Constructors; Gina La Bier, Director of Marketing and Development, Meteor Education; Dave Zebo, Director of Facilities and Transportation, LTUSD; Anush Nejad, Director of Public Works, City of South Lake Tahoe. Slides and a recap of the tabletop conversations can be found at March 20, 2024, recap of the State of the District tabletop conversations.
