LHS Athletics Signing Day #3
Athletics Signing Day
Monday, May 13, 2024
Leonardtown High School
Families are welcome and encouraged to attend.
This is the final signing day for this school year. Photos from this signing will not be included in the yearbook as it has already been submitted for production/printing.
Please complete the link below:
If you have any questions please contact Mr. Henderson, rbhenderson@smcps.org or Ms. Carter, bdcarter@smcps.org .
We know everyone is counting the days and maybe the minutes until they get a break from school, but we are not quite finished. Typically, school attendance rates drop an average of 6% nationwide in May and June because standardized testing is finishing and trips are getting organized (ExpandedSchool.org, 2024). While our mindset may begin shifting, that does not mean we don't have to complete our school responsibilities. Raiders, make sure you finish the year strong and attend until the end!

Reminder for Parents/Guardians - Student Drop Off
Parents who are dropping students off at school in the morning should use the parking lot lane closest to the building. Please do not park in in a space and wait to drop your student off. Unfortunately, parking is very limited for both students and staff. Utilizing extra parking spaces for this purpose can create an issue where there is nowhere for staff or student drivers to park. Additionally, please do not drive down the middle parking lot lane in order to drop a student at school. We appreciate your help!
