2025/2026 Calendar

The Board of Education approved the calendar for next school year. Please note the adjustment to the start and end of the school year to accommodate construction of the new Kindergarten Center opening in the fall of 2025. Thank you for your understanding.

Register Now for Next School Year

Registration in Skyward Family Access is required and is now open for kindergarten and all returning students.


Kindergarten Details — Please register your kindergarten students by February 16 to ensure the important decisions related to kindergarten can be made and communicated to families and staff in a timely manner. Changes to kindergarten registration after February 16 will require approval by the Superintendent or designee and will only be considered in cases of extreme hardship, provided that transportation, classroom space and staffing levels are sufficient. It's a Small World at Forest Glen

Forest Glen started 2025 with a collaborative castle inspired by Disney art legend Mary Blair. It's a Small World at Forest Glen! While every Forest Glen Eagle made a piece of the castle, this project goes hand in hand with 4th grade's upcoming literacy unit about artists.

Dual Language Program Information Session

You are invited to an informational meeting about the D41 Dual Language Program at Churchill School. This session is designed to provide insights into the world of bilingual education for parents of incoming kindergarten students interested in participating in the District 41 Dual Language Program during the 25-26 school year.

Nominate a D41 Educator of the Year

The Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce proudly recognizes those in the community for their exceptional contributions to Glen Ellyn including a District 41 educator! Nominations are being accepted through February 11. The awards will be presented at the 61st annual Community Awards celebration in March.
