The Home Stretch!
We have just a handful of weeks left in our 2023-2024 School Year! Thank you for your patience and communication over the past nine months. The support and will to continue to grow and accel G-AHS as a community is going strong. On Friday, May 24th I will be hosting a "Coffee and Conversation with the Principal" at 8am. I'll grab some donuts too! Please plan to RSVP here to attend by May 17th.
Help the High School win a $50,000 School Makeover!
We desperately need new furniture for our students! Let's give this a shot! The Promotion begins on April 15, 2024, at 12:00 a.m. and ends on May 30th 2024 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Draw Date/Approximate Winner Notification Date 06/30/24.
Celebration for Most School Spirit Challenge
G-A!!! You have proved that we may small, but mighty! Earlier this school year we won the MOST SCHOOL SPIRITED JOHNNY"S CHALLENGE of $1500. See Slushie Celebration below!
What if, what if we could win this $50,000 for furniture for our high school!?!?!? Our student council has presented to the board about the need. We have heard the need. We are working on what we can do to make it happen. In the meantime, would you all take a challenge to help win this $50,000. All we need to do it vote daily again!

WorkForce Wednesday in Action
The juniors attended a WorkForce Wednesday event at Eaton Cummins in Galesburg. At the event, students learned about various ways to get experience, practiced interviewing skills, and were able to ask questions to employees in various career fields.

Seniors, get up to $27,500 for college!
Paying for college just got easier for the Class of 2024 thanks to the Michigan Achievement Scholarship! 7 out of 10 Michigan high school seniors may qualify, no matter your GPA (and there’s no application essay)! Just fill out the new, streamlined FAFSA to apply. Simply follow these three steps:
1. Memorize your social security number
2. Create FSA IDs (both student and parent)
3. Wait three days after creating FSA ID’s and then fill out the FAFSA
