March 11th Important Information & Schedule
BHS will have a modified schedule on Monday, March 11th, which will include required pre-administration activities for the PSAT and SAT testing for all 9th, 10th, and 11th graders; and a study hall for all 12th graders. All 9-11 grade students will report to their SPEAR classes in the morning for attendance. All 12th graders will report to the commons or auditorium, and will NOT be able to access hallways or testing rooms for the duration of the morning.
Monday, March 11th will provide students an opportunity to access their College Board Accounts, review the new digital bluebook application, and gain familiarity with the digital tools and new PSAT/SAT format. March 11th will also provide students the opportunity to complete the required 30 minute Digital Readiness portion (test preadministration) for the April 17th PSAT/SAT. This provides students with the opportunity to take a practice test, select colleges to receive their scores, and to qualify for scholarships. Digital Readiness is required before the April 17th test date. If students are unable to attend the March 11th practice test, they will still need to complete this task prior to testing on April 17th.
All students will report to their 5th and 7th periods after lunch for attendance, before reporting to optional activities that students will sign up for prior to March 6th.
We are committed to assisting our students in preparing for these tests by providing resources, guidance, and support throughout the process. Ongoing test prep is provided in SPEAR through Khan Academy and FEV tutor. Should you have any questions or require further information about the testing schedules, preparation strategies, and/or opt-outs, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at john.steckel@tsd.org or 970-613-7712.

BHS Parking Permits
ALL students that drive to BHS are required to display a parking permit in their vehicle to park on campus. Please register your vehicle at the following link: http://bit.ly/bhspermit or use the QR code posted by the main office for your FREE parking permit (1st=free, if replacement is needed=$2.00/ea.) Once you have completed the form and it has been processed, you will be called to the office to pick up your permit. The permits are good until they graduate and will be turned in at that time.
