MEET OUR INTERIM PRINCIPAL TIM MANKIN
Hello DCE Families:-)! My name is Tim Mankin, and I will be serving as your interim principal starting 4/14 through the end of the school year. It has neen an incredible first week as the students and staff have been so welcoming. No better way to start the day than hundreds of 'fist bumps' and greetings from students as they enter the building! I have been a teacher and administrator at various levels for 36 years. After retiring as principal at HIJH in 2021, I served as an interim principal at FCJH in '23-'24, and then as interim assistant principal at FCI earlier this year. I now welcome the chance to work with K-4 students and staff at DCE. Eight words will be the foundation of my work with all of you: What are your needs? How can I help? Serving the students, families, and staff will be my top priorities. Go Stars!!

He isn’t made like them because he is flat on one side. The friends work together to figure out how to help Ricky roll and learn some great lessons about friendships, adversity and triumph.
