Medications at school need to be picked up in-person on the last day of school, TODAY. Medications will not be sent home with students. If you do not pick them up before the end of the school day on the last day of school, they will be disposed of according to CHPS policy. As we head into the summer, please ensure your students' immunizations are up to date for next year. Our immunization noncompliance enforcement date will be Monday, October 20th. If your student is not up to date by this time, they will not be allowed in school until they are compliant. If you need assistance finding an appointment, please contact your school's Nurse, Liaison, or the District Nurse.

If your student will be taking medication at school next year, please use the summer to prepare the needed paperwork. A new Medication Authorization Form is needed each school year and must be signed by your student's provider and a parent/guardian. Medications must be dropped off by an adult, and we will not accept any medications without the necessary paperwork already on file. Please see the Health page of our district's website for more information.

Yogilli is a cheerful, friendly yoga doll designed to help kids connect with their bodies, practice mindfulness, and express their emotions through movement. Created by Elham Ayoubi Jalali, a founder and certified Cyclic Yoga teacher, this program guides children through fun activities that foster a supportive and exciting environment for growth. Each session combines storytelling, mindful activities, and movement, helping kids discover and learn in an engaging way. Students entering K-2nd grade for the fall of 2025.

Join CHHS FACS Teacher, Autumn Trzaskowski, in an Adult Enrichment cooking class where you’ll unlearn everything you thought you knew about Fettuccine Alfredo and re-learn how to make it from scratch. You’ll begin the class by whipping up pasta dough from scratch with flour, eggs, and olive oil. Master the technique to knead the dough and create your own Fettuccini noodles. As the pasta sets, we will combine butter, cream, and Parmesan cheese into a creamy Alfredo sauce seasoned with herbs from Blooming Heights Garden!

Rovers, helicopters, and landers, oh my! Exploring Mars takes all kinds of robotic missions. Youth will work as engineering design teams to create and test rover wheel designs for a mission to the red planet. Along the way, youth will explore the inner workings that make up their rover through hands-on investigations. A daily snack and nutrition activity will also be included.

Sports Physical for all Athletics
Every athlete participating in school-year sports must have a physical on file with the Activities Office. Student Athletes cannot register for the upcoming season without a sports physical on file. Sports physicals are valid for three years. 24-25 Sports Physical Form

Join the CH Police Department and Recreation for a fun-filled Bike Rodeo! The goal of this event is to teach kids the importance of bike safety in a safe-enclosed riding area. Your child will learn Bike safety, traffic rules, pedestrian safety, helmet fitting, and more, all from CH Police! Kids will get to try different skill-building stations and an obstacle course. Later, they will ride around Huset Park with a police car escort and enjoy tasty treats. Child must have experience and basic riding skills/training wheels are okay. Kids are encouraged to bring their own bikes; we will have a limited supply of bikes and helmets for use from the MN Bicycle Alliance.

• Parents must stay for younger riders or newer bike riders who might need help.

The Columbia Heights Athletic Boosters' Annual Golf Tournament will be on Tuesday, July 15 at 12:00 p.m. at the Majestic Oaks Golf Club in Ham Lake (701 Bunker Lake Blvd. NE, Ham Lake, MN 55304).

Flag Football Camp – Grades 3-5

• This camp is designed for players of all skill levels and focuses on the fundamentals of the game. Through drills, games, and teamwork activities, participants will build confidence, improve coordination, and develop a love for the sport in a non-contact, inclusive environment.
