Hola Tigres!
March has quickly arrived, and February went by swiftly with only 28 days, yet a lot happened during that time. This week, some of our Tigers attended the play "Frozen" at PRHS.
I want to give a big shout-out to all our 2nd graders for putting together such a beautiful play, "El gran capoquero." They all did amazing!
On Friday, we also enjoyed DEAR Day. Our students celebrated literacy by dressing up as book characters, having special readers in their classes, and reading to younger classmates. It was a wonderful day.
March will be another eventful month. Next week, we have parent-teacher conferences. If you have not yet scheduled a conference with your child's teacher, please make sure to reach out soon.
School Needs Assessment
IMPORTANT!
Only 10% of our families have responded! Please take a couple of minutes to complete the survey.
In an effort to design a School Plan for Student Achievement which best meets the needs of our students to improve outcomes for all of our students, and especially our English Learners, Long-term English Learners, we are seeking your input to provide guidance and direction to the plan for the 2025-2026 School Year.
Please take a couple of minutes to complete the survey linked below. One survey per family please.
STEAM Night
Office News
If your child has an appointment and/or must be picked up from school early, please allow yourself plenty of time, as the office will not pull them from class until you have arrived. Please understand that class time is valuable learning time. If you don't have your cell phone, not a problem; we now have a doorbell available for you to communicate with the front office upon your arrival. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding. Thank you!
Athletics
I would like to kindly remind you to have your student athletes return any jerseys they may have at home from past sports participations. Please note that there is a $35 charge for unreturned jerseys.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. Much appreciated!
