BLUE RIBBON EDDIES
Congratulations to our September Blue Ribbon Eddies! They were selected by their teacher for consistently demonstrating positive behavior throughout the school. These award winners were recognized on the morning announcements, presented a Blue Ribbon certificate signed by Eddie and a Blue Ribbon Eddie lanyard! In addition, they enjoy a special lunch at the reserved table with Mrs. Becraft.

Third grade students will begin sharing their slides and telling us about what animal they think would be a good companion for Eddie. Second grade and multiage students will continue learning about library tools and types of literature.

Multiage Throwing and 3rd Grade Soccer
This week, 3rd graders focused on learning foundational soccer skills and learned them through Modern Classroom. They learned how to pass a ball,
Multiage continued learning how to throw and incorporated other mini athletic skills. They played games such as Form a Group, Frogs and Lilly Pads, Flip It and Bean It.

On October 12, 2023, Eagle Lake students enjoyed an apple during Apple Crunch, a statewide celebration of Michigan apples. Apples are a great pick-me-up snack that nourishes your body and mind.

👀Project KidSight Vision Screening👀
On Friday, November 3, volunteers from the Edwardsburg Lions Club will be in the building performing vision screening on all students as part of Project KidSight. All children in attendance that morning will be screened unless parents request in writing that they not participate.

Visitors and Volunteers 🤗
If you wish to volunteer, please contact the classroom teacher to arrange a day and time. Volunteers must complete a background check every school year. A Volunteer Form is available on the EPS website.
New This Year: Visitors coming to eat lunch with students must have an approved Volunteer Form. For safety reasons, only staff and students are allowed on the playground during school hours.

EPS Foundation Father/Daughter Dance 👨👧
The Edwardsburg Public Schools Foundation is sponsoring “Denim and Diamonds” on November 11, from 4:00-6:00 pm at the Intermediate School for Edwardsburg girls in grades K-6. Girls are invited to bring dad, uncle, grandpa, or other special male guest. There will be light refreshments, a DJ, photo booth, and more!
Tickets are $25 per father/daughter pair and $5 for each additional daughter. CLICK HERE for tickets.
