iPad Headphones
Good Morning families of D103 First-Graders!
We have identified a recurring issue with the Brenthaven usb-c headphones that you may have purchased for your student. The metal connector that connects the headphones to the iPad has a tendency to pull out over time, making the headphones unusable. We apologize for any inconvenience the headphones may have caused.
To address this issue, we wanted to provide 3 options for you to consider if your child’s Brenthaven headphones break:
There is a 2-year warranty on the Brenthaven headphones. You may fill out the form on their website to make a warranty claim.
You can request a refund from the vendor who sold the headphones.
We have vetted the AVID “WonderEars” headphones and believe them to be a good alternative to the Brenthaven headphones. The AVID headphones can be purchased directly from the AVID website, or from another vendor of your choice. Please make sure to purchase the ones that have a “USB-C” connector.
We are also talking to Brenthaven directly to see if there is something they can do to help remedy the situation.
If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to Craig Chatham, Director of Technology & Assessment, at cchatham@d103.org.
Thank you for your partnership in your child’s education!
